We all know Perez has a thing for Rob. I thought this was a nice comment about Rob, so I decided to post it for you guys.
Hilton: The real stars to watch out for, you never have any way of predicting. In 2008, one of the big breakout stars was “Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson. I had no idea who he was in January 2008; now I write about him several times a week. [The year] 2007 was the first time Miley [Cyrus] and the Jonas Brothers exploded. So this year, I have no idea, and I love that. Maybe it’ll be some of the singers and musicians I talk about — last year, I talked about Lady Gaga and Katy Perry before they got any press

We can look forward to another fun filled year of interviews and articles on Rob from MTV’s Larry Carroll.
2. “Little Ashes”
We know him as Spunk Ransom, we know him as RPattz, and in 2008 we came to know Robert Pattinson as a hair-raising, riot-causing international superstar. Now, the in-demand actor has several projects in the works, but none are more anticipated than “Little Ashes,” an indie flick about surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. Thankfully, the movie looks much better than Rob’s mustache, and advance buzz is building. Soon enough, the world will know if RPattz is truly a wunderkind or a one-hit wonder.

I think Rob may have made it on every hot list this past year. I missed this one.
5. Robert Pattinson
Few can claim a supporting role in the Harry Potter series and then go on to open their own franchise wide and loud once the latest of those films shuffled off their November turf. Center to all this madness is Pattinson, complete with perpetual pout and glittery skin. It’s enough to make you trample one another in a San Francisco mall, just to kiss the ground he practically glided over. — WG
3. ‘Twilight’
The pop culture phenom that put the ‘Hot’ back in ‘Hot Topic,’ Twilight (the book, the film and the massive fanbase) created a frenzy not seen since The Great Beanie Baby Stampede of ’94. With two more sequels set to hit theaters in 2009 and 2010, the amount of pretend teen vampires living in your community will soon reach an all-time high. — ED

They just had to throw his name in the article, for no real reason. Rob is hot news.

Entertainment Weekly chimes in on Rob’s Hair. The writer included a poll, what do you think?
Also, I have a theory that women over the age of 30, like myself, will largely prefer the shorter cut, which makes the 22-year-old Pattinson look older. Am I right?

The Honor Roll: 20 People That Made an Impact in 2008
Somehow Pattinson transformed a small role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire into a role in a phenomenon of his very own, starring as Edward in Twilight and winning the hearts of every tween girl in the country. He’s already received some positive buzz for his role as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes and has several projects in development. Some of our readers may scoff his inclusion in this list, but as of publication, he’s ranked #1 on IMDB as the most searched for film entity, and that’s hard to ignore.

Breakout Stars: Robert Pattinson, Kat Dennings
Vampires may not have reflections, but Twilight’s Pattinson has obviously been practicing his smoldering look in the mirror for a long time. Denning, meanwhile, turned it up with Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist after smaller parts in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Sex in the City.

What’s hot on Yahoo! Buzz™ (and why)…
Christmas came and Christmas went this week, but Buzz lingers on. Hot topics include Robert Pattinson’s web-stirring haircut, an Obama chest sighting, and the deaths of three notables.
“Buzz” cut
This week, Robert Pattinson, or more accurately, Robert Pattinson’s hair, wafted over and settled upon the Buzz big time, as Web devotees of the “Twilight” star clicked away on anything having to do with his new haircut. In trading in his signature unruly locks for a much shorter, untousled do, Pattinson joins the ranks of Elvis Presley and John Edwards as public figures whose haircuts have the power to make people absolutely bonkers. And for those who harbor strong pro or anti new-hair sentiments, please remember: Long tufts or no, he’s still Robert Ever-Lovin’ Pattinson!

For the record I really like the new hair cut.
Let’s just say that the new look has not gone unnoticed. Fans of the teen heartthrob turned to the Web in a frenzy of look-ups for “Robert Pattinson haircut.” And also “Robert Pattinson new hair,” “Robert Pattinson new hair cut,” “Rob Pattinson new haircut,” and “Robert Pattinson with short hair.”
I beg to differ.
It’s not just his head that gets the fans going online. Searches extend to “Robert Pattinson shirtless,” “Robert Pattinson biography,” and “Robert Pattinson girlfriend.” Pattinson still may not really get the mania surrounding him. He told AccessHollywoood.com, “Well, they’re in love with the character… I really don’t claim anything.”
He’s right. It’s not him. It’s his hair.
