I would like to say my subscription to EW has been well worth it this year.

This week’s Entertainment Weekly delivers the ultimate guide to vampires. You’ll find interviews with the authors behind Twilight and True Blood, our list of the 20 greatest bloodsuckers ever, and Anne Rice’s pick for the best new vampire — as well as a talk with her about how she revolutionized the vampire legend decades ago with Interview with a Vampire.

Twilight producers Wyck Godfrey, Greg Mooradian and Guy Oseary were Awarded the Film of Vision Award at the 36th Annual Vision Awards in Beverly Hills Saturday night, and while they were modest about their success they spoke candidly to RadarOnline.com of the vampire love story.

How many times did you watch it? More than once, I bet. I can’t wait for more.
That headline pretty much says it all. I have to say, I’m impressed. You Twilighters clearly love yourself some vampire romance. In just a single week, Summit Entertainment’s “New Moon” trailer reached 10.6 million video streams across launch partners MTV and MySpace.
The social networking site broke some big records, with 4.2 million online views in the first 24 hours, contributing to a total of 7.8 million streams in the first seven days. MTV didn’t exactly fare poorly, with 5.3 million viewers tuned in for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards broadcast premiere and another 2.8 million streams in the following week. The walkaway here I think is that “Twilight” continues to be insanely popular. On that note, why not take one more look at that “New Moon” trailer…
Here’s another article from PR Newswire.
According a Press Release via PR Newswire:
“Film’s First Movie Trailer Receives 10.6 Million Online Views in its First Week Through Launch Partners MySpace and MTV
LOS ANGELES, June 9 /PRNewswire/ — The movie trailer for Summit Entertainment’s THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON received 10.6 million online views in its first week from the trailer’s domestic launch partners, MySpace and MTV. The trailer views on MySpace set a new record for the site with a total of 4.2 million online views within the first 24 hours and a total of 7.8 million within the first seven days. After being seen by 5.3 million viewers during its broadcast debut during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the trailer also received a total of 2.8 million online views on MTV.com within the first week.
The achievement is not only a record for MySpace, but also surpassed the views of the third and final trailer for the first film TWILIGHT, which received 3.2 million views in its first 48 hours online.

Rob really does say what is on his mind. That’s why we like him, right?

“I don’t know how many more of these awards I can come up for because I think a little bit is coming out of my pants right now.”

Larry Carroll gives us a peek at the other lines that could have made it into the film instead.
VENICE, California — In the time since it was first revealed by MTV last year, it has gone on to become one of the most famous lines in the “Twilight” world.
“You’d better hold on tight, spider monkey.”
And while an actual spider monkey isn’t nearly as cute as Kristen Stewart, the phrase has taken on a life of its own, inspiring MySpace pages, T-shirts, and dozens of other fan tributes. Now, “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke is cluing fans in on the eight other lines that nearly became Robert Pattinson dialogue in that “spider monkey” scene
